By accessing or using Pocket Type ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Pocket Type is a web-based typographic composition tool that allows users to generate, preview, and export typographic layouts for creative and commercial use. The Service is available as a free tier with limited features, and a paid monthly subscription with full access.

You may use the free tier of the Service regardless of age. To purchase a paid subscription, you must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate and current information when registering.

Pocket Type offers a free tier and a paid monthly subscription. The paid subscription unlocks additional features and is billed on a recurring monthly basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method each billing cycle until you cancel.

Subscription fees may change with reasonable notice. Continued use of the paid tier after a price change constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.

Pocket Type offers a curated library of built-in fonts. Each font in this library has been licensed by Pocket Type for use within the Service, including in exports you generate. You may use these fonts in your compositions and exported files without obtaining a separate license.

If you upload your own fonts, you are solely responsible for ensuring that you hold an appropriate license to use those fonts within the Service and in any content you export. Pocket Type does not verify the licensing status of uploaded fonts and accepts no liability arising from your use of fonts you do not have the rights to.

You retain ownership of the text and content you input into the Service. By using the Service, you grant Pocket Type a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service to you. You are responsible for ensuring that content you create or export does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.

You agree not to use the Service to create content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or otherwise harmful. You may not reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the Service's underlying technology.

All software, design, algorithms, and technology underlying Pocket Type are the intellectual property of Pocket Type. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any part of the Service to you.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will meet your specific requirements.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pocket Type shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pocket Type operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes your acceptance.
