Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. If you sign in via Google OAuth, we receive your name and email address from Google.
Billing Information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details. Stripe may retain billing records as required for tax and legal compliance. Please review Stripe's privacy policy for details on their data handling.
Usage Data
We may collect anonymized data about how you interact with the Service, such as features used, compositions created, and session activity. This data is used to improve the Service and is not linked to your identity.
Content
Text you enter into the editor is processed to generate typographic compositions. We do not store your composition content beyond what is necessary to provide the Service within your session or saved projects.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and maintain the Service, process payments, send transactional emails, respond to support inquiries, and improve the Service through aggregated usage analytics. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Transactional Email
We use Resend to deliver transactional emails related to your account, including subscription confirmations, billing receipts, and account changes. You cannot opt out of transactional emails while maintaining an active account.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our systems except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as tax records and fraud prevention. Stripe may retain billing records independently of account deletion.
6. Third-Party Services
Pocket Type uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies: Stripe (payment processing), Google (OAuth authentication), Resend (transactional email), and Neon Postgres (database hosting).
7. Cookies and Analytics
We may use cookies or similar technologies to maintain your session and to collect anonymized usage analytics. We aim to use privacy-respecting analytics tools and will update this section as our analytics stack is finalized.
